Consistent planning and production in the craft business

Currently April 2021: A comparison of CAD cam systems in practice

the German professional associations Tischler NRW and Tischler Nord organized a webinar series "Digi-Workshop for Carpenters: CAD-CAM Systems in Practice" in April 2021.

In order for the audience to be able to compare the programs with one another, the various providers were given a task. You should implement a given draft for a kitchen facility live, including material specifications with kitchen block, curved front paneling and internal pull-outs, implement given and spontaneous change requests and demonstrate a typical CAM connection. Finally, a visualization of the kitchen was presented as a rendering.

  • Manufacturing individual carpenter products with a focus on the future

  • Great visualizations for selling with a powerful built-in renderer

  • Supplement sales plans with fittings and processing

  • Automatically create a parts list and transfer it to the ERP

  • Automatically create CNC programs

  • Record data only once and save time

  • Increase efficiency and reduce the risk of errors

  • Consistency with calculable, affordable costs for CRAFT

  • Have fun working

... and do not listen to empty promises and vague information when realizing this PROJECT?

As a long-standing Vectorworks interiorcad user in my small carpentry business, I can support you in your step towards end-to-end production with various services by arrangement .

Benefit from my many years of experience. This way you minimize the risk of a bad investment and other unpleasant surprises.

CAD CNC CAM 3D VECTORWORKS

From 2000 to 2007 I drew in 2d with Autocad in my company. For years I visited various trade fairs and found out about the development and possibilities in the 3D area. Most of the time, the programs were too complicated for the occasional user or too expensive in terms of what was offered.

When I presented a task for bathroom furniture with roller shutter furniture and angled front to all the well-known CAD providers at the C-Tech days in Biel , I received by far the best result at Vectorworks, with the same deadline. At home, I attached this visualization to my customer's offer. A great compliment followed - and an order!

After I drew many beautiful orders and modifications in 3D from 2007 onwards, but still recorded the parts list with variable parts lists and manually; I programmed the cnc in the same way; There was a change of program due to the retirement and sale of the company of my ERP provider. Because my variable parts lists no longer worked and I didn't like to write very good parts lists and didn't want to take on the renewed effort of creating new variable parts lists, I checked the possibilities in 3D CAD.

With the acquisition of Vector-Wop and with little effort, I faced the new challenge of production realism and consistency. After a very short time this worked in my company. We now appreciate the high efficiency and the low risk of errors.
